How to use solids control equipment?

Shale Shaker BEM Shale Shaker
2-layer screen cloth with quadrate screen opening is preferred. When drilling fluid covers 75% screen area, the choice of the screen cloth is properly fitted.
The screen cloth with fine mesh should be selected as practical as possible according to the actual circumstance in the drilling progress. The working ratio of vibration screen is required to attain 100%.
In-time flushing and relief of the jammed screen cloth are required during the usage of screen cloth.

mud cleaner

Hydrocyclone /Cone
The trial run of desander, desilter (mud cleaner) prior to the spud of each well is required, with test pressure up to 0.3-0.4 MPa, no spud till pressure test is qualified. Under normal operating conditions of swirler, the ejected bottom flow is in an umbrella-shaped haze, with the bottom flow density of more than 1.6g/cm3. When the ejected bottom flow is in string pattern, the headpiece of bottom flow should be expanded, together with check.
In the normal drilling, the working rate of desander should be noless than 90%,and that of desilter (cleaner) no less than 80%.OGEM hydrocyclone

Decanting Centrifuge centrifuge
Strictly adhere to the design for keeping solid content and bentonite content in a proper level.The sand content in the drilling fluid must be kept at the level of below 0.3%, no more than 0.5% to a maximum degree. The intelligent use of centrifuge should be decided against the monitoring result.
