The Installation and Use of Cobra Shale Shaker

There is a number of things to notice when install or use shale shaker with cobra screen.

Electrical connections: confirm the installation of solids control equipment to ensure the motor voltage and voltage matching; the power cable is connected with the equipment off and make identification; power supply cable installation motor; check the voltage and wiring, and ensure that the connecting fastening; start the motor,check the motor steering, steering how can motor, but must to ensure that the two motor turning in the opposite.

Shaker screen installation: if drilling fluid is circulating, open discharge valve on liquid inlet slot; flushing shale shaker screen when shale shaker operates; close the shale shaker; remove the straining box on both sides of the hammer type wedge to unload screen; remove the sieve tray,cleaning disk in the installation of new screen; replacement of worn out or lost the sealing strip and the support bar (make sure all screen sealing strips are in the correct position, to start the screen); carefully placed pre sieve tray new, do not allow the sieve plate bending phenomenon; check whether the screen level in the sieve box, and the installation is to use a hammer or a crowbar to slip; wedge locking, ensure that the wedge fastening and reliable.
