What is the structure of mud cleaner for drilling fluid solids control?

A mud cleaner is a combination of desander and/or desilter mounted over a shale shaker with a fine mesh screen. A mud is fed to the inlet of the hydrocyclone (desander and/or desilter) to separate particles and the underflow passes to the fine screen mesh where in particles larger than barite are discarded and thrown away. In most drilling operations, a mud cleaner is installed in its mud systems. It is usually located in a mud tank in the same location as with the desilters.

What is the structure of drilling fluid mud cleaner?

OGEM mud cleaner for oil drilling solids control mainly consists of desanding cleaner and desilting cleaner and main components are shaker basket, vibration motor, screen tensioning system, angle adjustment system, lock device, feeder and electric system. The main body are made up of two parts of upper hydrocyclone and under shaker screen.

AWD system: screen basket adjusted within -1°～+5°at 0.5° increment; feeder box with inlet connection locates on back 10″, 1MPa flange. Desander cones are 10″ or 12″ hydraulic cones and manifold which are made of high-chromium iron while desiter cones are 4″ or 5″ hydraulic cones and manifold of polyurethane.
