OGEM Jet mud mixer consist of mechanical seal mixing pump and venture hoppers, If it is used with shearing pump together, the effect will be more excellent, it can be designed as double jet mud mixer according to customers’ requirements. And installation for the mixing pump and hoppers are flexible from OGEM, either on a single skid or at tank end skid or even separately with hopper on tank top, and pump at tank side. All flexible design is to make the complete mud system to be compact and user friendly.
OGEM Jet mud mixer is used to make and mix drilling fluid to change the density and viscosity. This device can satisfy the fluid weighting&mixing of solid control system used for 1500m-9000m drilling.
OGEM has a complete line of mud mixing equipment designed to assist operators with the greatest available efficiency in blending. Bentonite, polymers and other powder additives have traditionally been added to assist in achieving the properties needed from drilling mud such as viscosity for hole cleaning, water loss control and filter cake build up. On weighted mud applications, the ability to handle Barite during potential blow-out applications is even more important.

1. Mud mixer is a single jet mixer combined with 45 Kw (or 55 Kw) sand pump and a jet mud hopper or a double jet mixer of two pumps and two hoppers.
2. The weighting hopper can be combined with a pump or be used independently with manifold valves with pump.
3. Put the drilling fluid materials (bentonites, barite powder) and the corresponding chemical additives (polymer) into circulation tank for increasing the total.
Solids control is a technique used in drilling rig to separate the solids in the drilling fluids that are crushed by the drill bits and carried out of the well surface. Shale shaker is used to separate the big solids with diameter above 75μm,
and 45~74μm for desander, and 15~44μm for desilter. Sometimes desander & desilter are combined as high efficient mud cleaner. When air enters into the drilling fluids, vacuum degasser is used to separate the air. If no air in the mud, the degasser would work as a big agitator. All these equipments are mounted on the top of the mud tank. After separating the solids, the clean mud would be pumped into the borehole again.
