The five stages of solids control equipments

Solids control is an indispensable technique used in oil field to separate the solids in the drilling mud that are crushed by the drill ing bits and carried out of the well surface. Normally solid control system is consist of five stages, including shale shaker, vacuum degasser, desander, desilter and centrifuge, and other components including mud tanks, jet mud mixer, centrifuge pump, mud agitator,vertical centrifuge and mud gun.

The first stage solids control equipment: Shale Shaker


Shale shaker is used as the first stage solids control equipment for drilling fluid circulation system. It removes 74μm or above size particle from drilling mud.Equipped with High G-force linear motion up to 7.4 G, the shale shaker will ensure the minimum waste of mud and maximum recycling efficiency.Deck adjustment while drilling patented technique AWD (adjust 0.5°/time,from -1°~5°)mechanical mode,to ensure safe operation.Smaller size motor and lower position deck,making sure lighter participating vibration weight,getting bigger treatment capacity.


Second stage solids control equipment: vacuum degasser


Vacuum degasser separate H2S and other gases. It is helpful for reducing cone part abrasion on desander and desilter during further handling.It also can beused as mud agitator with big power.


Third stage solids control equipment:Desander


Desander is used for separating 45-74μm particle from drilling mud. It is adopted with flexible and replaceable cones for option ( 1pc to 3pc,dia 10" or 12").Good wear resistance for cone material with PU and high-chromium iron for option.Smaller size motor and lower position deck,making sure lighter participating vibration weight,getting bigger treatment capacity.


Fourth stage solids control equipment: Desilter
Hebei desilter is used as 4th stage equipment for drilling fluid solids control system.It separates 15-44μm particle.Clamp and replaceable cone design,the desilter coupled with flexible cone number for option(8pc,10pc,12pc,16pc,20pc,dia 4" or 5").Smaller size motor and lower position deck,making sure lighter participating vibration weight,getting bigger treatment capacity.acity


Fifth stage solids control equipment: Decanter Centrifuge
