How to choose the right decanter centrifuge

Now I’m sharing our experience and knowledge about how to choose the right decanter centrifuge.  There are a number of factors which affect the separating ability of a centrifuge.  such as geometric design and the bowl speed. length-diameter ratio of bowl L/D,conical angel of bowl,The length of setting zone and lenth of drying zone. etc.  length-diameter ratio of bowl L/D.The larger the internal diameter of bowl is,The greater the amount is handled by decanter centrifuge,However,due to the strength of materials. the manufacturing difficulties and other factors, the bowl diameter increases,The centrifuge speed shall drop and the separation factor shall become small.The decanter centrifuge with large bowl diameter,low speed and small  L/D is generally used for the materials which have large solid particles size and high concentration,and which are easy to be separated. In general. for materials with high concentrations and course particles. the decanter centrifuge with L/D ≦2  should be selected. for the materials which are difficult to be separated. the decanter centrifuge with L/D ≧3 should be selected. for more information about how to choose the right decanter centrifuge.
