Solids Control Equipments in CBM(Coal Bed Methane) Project

Nowadays, solids control equipments is widely used in the CBM (Coal Bed Methane) project. CBM is a form of natural gas extracted from coal beds. In recent decades it has become an important source of energy in some countries, it is also known as Coal Seam Gas.What is Solids Control System

Solids control equipments could be used in all the places of surface drilling, CBM is sure included. The main purpose of solids control equipments is to clean the drilling mud used in drilling the surface. Solids control equipments could be used independently or as an complete system. According to the solids particle size, in general condition, there will be four stage treatment process for the drilling mud, the first stage is shale shaker also the core equipment, the next is desander and desilter, after the centrifugal treatment by a decanting centrifugal, the drilling mud could already be recycling, if necessary, we could re-configurate the mud by the mud hopper device matching with a feeding pump.
