Drilling fluids circulation system is one the important composition in whole drilling rig system

Solids control is a technique used in drilling rig to separate the solids in the drilling fluids that are crushed by the drill bits and carried out of the well surface. Normally solid control system is consist of five stages, including mud tank, shale shaker, vacuum degasser, desander, desilter, centrifuge. Shale shaker is used to separate the big solids with diameter above 75μm, and 45~74μm for desander, and 15~44μm for desilter. Sometimes desander & desilter are combined as high efficient mud cleaner. When air enters into the drilling fluids, vacuum degasser is used to separate the air. If no air in the mud, the degasser would work as a big agitator. All these equipments are mounted on the top of the mud tank. After separating the solids, the clean mud would be pumped into the borehole again


Oilfield solids control system, or called drilling fluids circulation system is one the important composition in whole drilling rig system. It mainly consists of drilling fluids shale shaker, vacuum degasser,desander, desilter, mud cleaner, and decanter centrifuge. All these solids control equipment serves as a series of sifter in varying shape and sizes, and drilling fluids will be purified by repeatedly going through the layers of filters.


Drilling Mud Cleaner Application


Hebei AJQ series high effective mud cleaner is the second or third stage separation equipment of drilling liquid, which will handle the solids particle after being treated by the first grade separation equipment. The mud will be recovered and cuttings which are bigger than mud will be removed. Then the cuttings in the underflow will flow into circulation tanks through the screens when the weighted mud passes while the particles that are bigger than mesh will be removed.


Drilling Mud Cleaner Features:


1. Polyurethane (PU) Material, high-chromium cast iron or ceramic for desander and desilter cones.

2. Desander cones can be installed between one and three 10"desander cones, each cone can process 500GPM and makes a separation between 45 and 75 microns.

3. Desilter cones can be installed between eight and twenty 4"or 5"desilter cones ,each cone can process 80 GPM, and makes a separation between 15 and 45 microns.

4. Mechanical Deck Adjustable while operation for reliable performance.

5. Compact design with small footprint, with top feed and weir feed two option.

6. Hook-strip shaker screen for fast screens changing with PWP and PMD screens
