Trouble Shooting of  Decanter Centrifuge
1.The electric motor fails to start up
Cause :
a) No power supply
b) Unsuccessful resetting of limit switch of torque
c) Damage of components of control cabinet
overload device
Trouble Shooting
(1)Check resetting status of limit switch, and subsequently ask professional electricians to inspect that whether peripheral power supply is under normal condition
(2) Ask professional electricians to check the components of control cabinet.
2,Screw conveyoris plugged with solids

Trouble Shooting 
Cause
a) Overloading of screw conveyor by excessive feed rate or excessively high slurry solid phase, and deslagging failure by torque overload release unhitched, resulting in sludge sediment inside bowl and screw blockage.
b)Solids outlet blockage.
(1). Check that whether the solids outlet is blocked first, and clean it if necessary.
(2). Replace safety pin and reset overload device.
3. Hold the bowl, turn input pulley of gearbox by hand, and fill clean water into the bowl to discharge slurry sediment. Never turn the gearbox forcefully towards one way, which might cause overload release unhitched again. Sediment is not discharged completely until it can be turned up to 57 rounds above towards the working direction (where screw conveyor rotates one round against the bowl).
(4). Start up the screw conveyor under no-load to confirm its ability of normal operation.
3,The machine vibrates more strenuously
Cause:
a). Dry and hard cakes left in the bowl due to halfway cleaning since last operation.
b). Bearing abrasion.
c). Dynamic balance is broke.
d). Inactivation of the vibration damper.
e). Medium vibration occurred close to critical revolution point in case of start-up or stop.
Trouble Shooting
(1). Check that whether conveyor is plugged,   which will be handled by means of fault 2 if yes.
(2). If no, check proper assembly of dam, abrasion of discharge bushings, damage of main bearings (turn the bowl by hand to check blockage of bearing rotation), intact connection of coupling screws. Wash the bowl with clean water after the aforesaid is checked to be normal, and turn the screw conveyor to discharge sediment. Start up the machine under no load to confirm elimination of fault.
(3). Replace vibration dampers if necessary.
(4). It is unnecessary to handle vibration at critical revolution point.
4,Hydro-coupling fusible plug melt down

Decanter Centrifuge
Cause:
a)Directly by overload of  hydro-coupling, and oil temperature rise, which is generally caused by excessive feed rate, excessively high slurry solid phase.
b) solids outlet blockage, main bearing damage, and  excessive or insufficient operating oil.
Trouble Shooting
(1). Check overload reasons referring to fault 1 and 2 and make corresponding treatment.
(2). Check oil quantity of hydro-coupling.
(3). Replace fusible plug.
5,Abnormal sound of gearbox
Cause:
a). Inappropriate selected oil products or oil volume.
b). Gear abrasion.
c). Bearing abrasion.
Trouble Shooting
(1)Turn off the machine immediately in case of abnormal sound of gearbox, and notify professional machinist for handling, or replace a new gearbox.
