In drilling, two stage separation process employed on the mud cleaner with different sizes & material hydrocyclones mounted on top of shale shaker. Normally high efficiency mud cleaner combines of the function of desander   desilter , with two or three pcs desander hydrocyclones, and 8 to 12 pcs desilter hydrocyclones together. While normally the desander clones & desilter units do not work at the same time. though they are drive by two different motors.
