Operation of mud cleaners in the solids control system

OGEM MD series high effective oilfield drilling fluids mud cleaner is the second or third stage drilling fluids solids control equipment of drilling fluids recycling system.This oil drilling fluids cleaner will handle the solids particle after being treated by the first grade separation equipment. The mud will be recovered and cuttings which are bigger than mud will be removed. Then the cuttings in the underflow will flow into circulation mud tanks through the screens of the oilfield drilling mud conditioner when the weighted mud passes while the particles that are bigger than mesh will be removed.

Operation
We should check cone inlet valve whether have already opened before use of desilter group, or the opened cones quantity is enough.
The desander group can works in the condition of providing pressure is kept in the prescribed limit.
After start to work, we should often check feed liquid pressure whether regular, pipeline and connection place whether have leakage. Viewing the bottom flow discharging situation of desander/ desilter, the spray is the best. Then it can eliminate more harmful solid phase and little abrade to hydrocyclone. Otherwise need replace the different size bottom flow to adjust, also can according to mechanical method to increase bottom flow size. We should check and trouble clearing if appears no bottom flow condition.
In order to improve mud cleaner chip removal condition, suggested introduce the appropriate well mouth returned mud.

Working Mechanism of Jet Mud Mixer

Jet mud mixer is a special equipment to prepare and increase the drilling fluids weight by adding and mixing bentonite, change the fluid density, change the mud density, viscosity, and dehydration. The effect is more prominent matching with Shear Pump. OGEM jet mud mixer is a unit used together with the solids control system for petroleum drilling and horizontal directional drilling(HDD). The unit includes one sand pump, one jet mixing hopper and one jet mixer that are installed in a base with pipe valves. It is safe and stable and can be moved conveniently. At the same time，we can make Twin-Jet Mud Mixer according to the user requirements.

Working Mechanism of Jet Mud Mixer
The drilling flow into the jet pump with certain pressure, in the jet pump fluid spouts out from jet nozzle first, then flows into shear pipe through mixing chamber, Material will be added from hopper to mixing hopper, and move into shear pipe with the flow. During this process, they are dispersed and mixed. The mixture will enter into drilling fluid tank when flows out of the shear pipe.
The shear pipe is hollow and it can expand gradually based on certain curved surface. It is mainly used to enlarge shearing force inside the pipe to disperse the material further and increase the mixture pressure head, this will make it easy to enter in to circulation tank.
