Shale shaker : In the shale shaker's history,have 4 phases.But right now,we just can see 3 types shale shaker in using situation only.
The 3 types of shakers is Orbital motion shale shaker,Linear motion shale shaker and Balanced elliptical shale shaker.
(1). Orbital motion shale shaker is a circular motion,it is second generation shale shaker.
(2). Linear motion shale shaker has vibration that is induced by a pair of eccentric(or eccentrically weighted) shafts turning in opposite directions. Then the shaker screen will have a power to do 45° linear motion go forward.The cuttings and other solids will go out from the shaker screen,the drilling mud will drop in the mud tank from the screen.The treating capacity is fine,if you face to financial strain pproblem,this is a suitable choice. mostly good value for money. It is third generation shale shaker.
(3).Balanced Elliptical Shale Shaker's motion isn’t perfectly circular motion-it’s an ellipse or oval motion. This type shale shaker is best one,it is advanced than others. Fourth generation shale shaker.
The treating capacity increased 20%-30%,discharge speed increased by 10%-20%. It is best & newest type till now.
